Campaigns for Prevention
The purpose of campaigns is two-fold. One, to “Get the Word Out.” This purpose is simply education and awareness. The second purpose of a campaign is to enlist support of the community. Once the word is out, what can we do? How can we participate? How can I keep the word going out? Do I have a role? Campaigns are an important part of the life of a community.
We will conduct the Golden Days of Summer (June – August), the Red Ribbon Week (October) and National Drunk and Drugged Driving (3D) Prevention Month (December) campaigns installation wide. The Fort McCoy Army Substance Abuse Program welcomes volunteers to help spread the message throughout the installation. Please contact the listed point of contact if interested.
