Army Family Action Plan (AFAP)

The AFAP is a grass-roots process beginning at the installation level that seeks input from the Total Army Family regarding significant quality of life issues that affect the well being of Soldiers, civilians, retirees, and their respective Families.  The AFAP alerts Army Leadership to areas of concern that need attention and gives them the opportunity to put plans into place to work toward resolution.  Hundreds of legislative, regulatory, and policy changes have occurred over the past 20+ years due to the AFAP.

The Fort McCoy FY09 AFAP conference will be held 22 & 23 Oct 08 in Building 905.

A good AFAP contains a cross section of the Total Army Family - Soldiers, retirees, Family members, and civilians.   You may submit suggested improvements you would like to see happen either at Fort McCoy or Army wide by submitting a separate issue form for each issue you would like addressed.  You may also submit a volunteer nomination form if you would like to be part of the conference workgroup that reviews the issues submitted.

Both issue forms and volunteer registration forms must be submitted NLT 15 Aug 08.  Remember, we are all part of the Army Family.  Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to get involved in AFAP.

Questions can be addressed to the AFAP Manager or by phoning (608) 388-2359/3505.

Forms may be submitted to:
