About Family & MWR

Thank you for visiting Fort McCoy MWR.  The Fort McCoy Directorate of Family and MWR provides an array of services and programs including Family, child and youth programs, recreational, sports and fitness activities, food and catering, entertainment, travel and leisure and lodging operations. We serve the Fort McCoy Army community with support and leisure services designed to enhance the quality of life. As Members of Family and MWR, we pledge to meet the needs of our customers -- Active, Reserve, and Guard Soldiers, DoD Civilian Employees, Retirees, Family Members, and other eligible participants. We ensure our customers have access to the services they want and need by informing them and connecting them to our broad range of programs.

Family and MWR Philosophy

Soldiers are entitled to the same quality of life as is afforded the society they are pledged to defend. Keeping an Army ready to fight and win takes more than hard work and training. Soldiers need a balance of work and play. The Family and MWR mission is to create and maintain "First Choice" MWR products and services for America's Army, essential to a ready, self-reliant force.
